Salters Haven is a new waterfront community from Logan Homes in Hampstead, NC. Building on the success of their Helms Port community in southern Wilmington, Logan Homes intends to develop a similar but larger concept for Salters Haven at Lea Marina. The 68-acre tract runs adjacent to Factory Road all the way to the Intracoastal Waterway. A thoughtfully placed man-made berm has been constructed along the perimeter of the property to decrease visibility from Factory Road and enhance the privacy and feel of the community.
As with Helms Port, the centerpiece of the community is the marina, luxurious clubhouse and resort-style swimming pool. The clubhouse will offer an outdoor kitchen, fire pit and parking for golf carts and vehicles. There will be storage for kayaks and canoes along with a boardwalk around the marina that connects to community sidewalks.
There will be 308 total homesites once Salters Haven is complete. The 9 lots fronting the Intracoastal Waterway have the best views and will, therefore, carry the highest prices. The 11 canal front lots on the way into the marina will have lifts for boat access. In addition to these premium lots there will be 13 lots that surround the marina. Interior lots owners will have the ability to purchase slips on a first-come first-served basis.
